Stabe Wilson: Latest News

Latest Occurences and Offerings

Summer is here and I (along with my band) are out in many new venues and cities spreading our love through music. We've had a really exciting summer as we've been out on some of the best festivals around. Thanks to those who came out to the Monterey Blues Festival and the Windmill Ridge Winery Jazz and Blues Night as well as The Oakland Art & Soul Festival. If you haven't made it out yet, don't worry, you still have time to catch us as we're not done (or tired) yet. We look forward to being able to share these many opportunities with you and welcome you to come out and cheer us on.

If you don't see a show near you, check back again soon as my management is still booking and routing cities and venues to play. I'd love for you to live the live experience with me. Stay tuned for great things and when we meet, we can reflect in music and inspired conversation.

Stabe

Stabe Wilson is available for public performances or corporate dates in the listed configurations:

Stabe Wilson Band
This is Stabe's normal performance ensemble and can range from five(5) to eight(8) musicians and singers who are featured throughout the show. The music is quite diverse, crossing a broad musical palette from Instrumental Jazz to Vocally Romantic R&B/Jazz ballads and Neo Soul Funk!

Stabe Wilson Ensemble
For an intimate experience of a small band (usually 4 musicians). Grooves, inspired improvisation and conversation is the focus of this unit.

The Stabe Wilson Acoustic Trio
For those intimate, quiet affairs where music is used as a canvas to highlight that special occasion. It consists of a pianist, acoustic (upright) bassist, and Stabe on sax. This unit plays standards as well as some contemporary jazz in a laid back acoustic fashion. This can work well when sound concerns are a factor.

Stabe Wilson Gospel/Jazz Ensemble
This group (usually 4-5 musicians) plays gospel worship and praise music to glorify and honor God, the father.
